In the pretty, enclosed, shared gardens sits St Margaret's Hospital Chapel (privately owned and not open to the public) that dates from the early 13th century. Honiton is a mecca for antique hunters with a range of shops, restaurants, pubs and a sports centre. The city of Exeter is 12 miles, offering attractions such as theatres, restaurants and shopping centres. You will be a comfortable drive to the resorts of Lyme Regis, Seaton, Sidmouth, Budleigh Salterton and Exmouth. The lovely villages of Dartmoor, Exmoor and The Blackdown Hills are within easy reach, as are several National Trust properties. The cottage retains much original charm yet offers all the modern conveniences. The accommodation offers TWO bedrooms: approached by cottage stairs, 1 double and 1 twin (children must take care of feature window as it is low). Bathroom: with shower over and WC. Lounge: with electric fire set in a fireplace and TV with DVD. Kitchen/diner: with electric cooker, microwave, dishwasher, fridge with icebox and washer/dryer.
