You will be within walking distance of The Valley of the Rocks, the beautiful waterfalls of Watersmeet, Woody Bay, Heddons Mouth, and the Lynton Lynmouth Cliff Railway which takes you to the picturesque harbour of Lynmouth. Much care and attention has gone into retaining traditional charm whilst incorporating creature comforts. About: JUST A WHISPER AWAY FROM LYNTON AND LYNMOUTH WHERE EXMOOR MEETS THE SEA Lynhurst is an elegant late Victorian country house with great character arranged on 4 floors. The house is totally hidden in a large area of gardens and natural woodland yet just a whisper away from Lynton and Lynmouth, that is known as little Switzerland, where Exmoor meets the sea, and is possibly one of the most beautiful places in England. It is a perfect retreat for those seeking peace and solitude. Although secluded, it is only a short stroll to all the area's attractions such as the famous cliff railway, which takes you to the picturesque harbour of Lynmouth, the Valley of the Rocks and the beautiful waterfalls of Watersmeet. There are many pubs, restaurants and shops a few minutes walk away and a secluded sandy beach in Lynmouth. Explore the North Devon Atlantic coastline and the Blue Flag golden sands of Woolacombe, Croyde and Saunton Sands which are half an hour by car. Local centres provide traditional country based activities such as golf, fishing, tennis, riding and walking. A caterer can be arranged for functions if required. The accommodation retains many original features including a tiled entrance hall that leads to an impressive grand staircase which takes you to TEN bedrooms: well appointed and spacious, on the first floor 1 twin bedroom (with zip-and-link beds), 1 twin with en-suite shower and WC. On the second floor 2 doubles each with en-suite shower and WC, 1 four-poster bed, 1 twin (with zip-and-link beds) with en-suite bath and WC, 1 further (zip-and-link) double which can be a twin on request with shower and basin and a separate WC. On the third floor: 1 double room with en-suite shower and WC, 1 double plus twin beds with shower and WC, 1 twin room with sloping ceilings and basin which is perfect for children. Some of the bedrooms have private balconies with incredible sea views. In 3 of the twin bedrooms the beds can be linked together to make a double on request.
